Not much going on in this scene, although Portia de Rossi's eyebrows do act their way off the screen...
... Well, they act Rebecca Gayheart's fake laugh off the screen at least.
Hah, love the look of bitchery on the face of the girl in the background who nearly gets hit by Sidney's stray hash cookie!

I can actually see the workings of the original Hallie-is-the-co-murderer plot, that was originally to be, right here with the sorority sisters being all over Sidney and not Hallie. It really would have been interesting to see where that plot would have gone.
Gosh, these two should have had their own spin-off!

Wait, wha-?!? Hallie was originally the second killer? You mean she AND Mickey? Or Hallie and Mrs. Loomis? Wow. I had no idea. I've always wondered about the bathroom scene in the high school of Scream 1. Was that supposed to be a prank, or was it really Billy or Stu attacking Sidney? I think it was the fact that the Ghost Face in the restroom was wearing boots, which (if I recall correctly) you don't see Billy or Stu wearing in the film. Wow. Comment went wildly off topic. Bye!
I am just realizing this scene is all in one shot... nice.
Also, I like this:
Sidney -- I'm fine.
Hallie -- Yeah. Fucked up. Insecure. Neurotic. And emotional.
By the way, I have always read that Matthew Lillard makes a cameo at the next scene at this party... yet I have never actually found him. So if you can, do point him out in your review to that scene :) Thanks.
Interesting point about Hallie. From what I remember, the 'Angelina is one of the killers' hints in Scream 3 are even more obvious. Still bummed they changed that. Would love to have seen Emily Mortimer kicking ass.
Jay C, yes, it was originally Hallie, Derek and Mrs Loomis, but once the screenplay was leaked they changed the ending.
How much do you all want to bet that after trying it with Hallie and Angelina in 2 and 3, Kevin Williamson will finally get one of the younger female characters to be the killer in Scream 4?
