What Has Kelly Clarkson Done This Time?

Hopefully the quality of Kelly Clarkson's music artwork is a sign of the quality of the music. Her last album My December had an astonishing album sleeve, yet the album was truly a disaster of epic proportions. Now comes the artwork for the first single off of her new album and it's terrible... so, here's hoping the song is a corker!

LOL!

If anything, she's an interesting trainwreck now.

The title concerns me more than the cover art, I must say.

I remain a defender of "My December," which has more clever pop moments than people give it credit for. "One Minute" was an absolute stomper.

But then I'm pretty forgiving of Clarkson in general, as I honestly believe she could be one the great voices of her generation. Her version of "Up to the Mountain" that she sang on that Idol charity special gives me chills:

OMG - I'm not very familiar with her style but I'm getting the impression she's right about one thing: that she's perfectly capable of sucking by herself.

Guy, "One Minute" was good, but I found the rest to be dirge pure and simple.

Ick. What slutty cover art.
Yeah, and the title? Even worse.

I still won't forgive her for that godawful "Miss Independent" song from years back. I am not a fan.

Also: Airbrushed. To infinite and beyond. And not subtle, either.

Popjustice says "My Life Would Suck Without You" is her best since "Since U Been Gone" and since they are the final word on pop music, I'm inclined to believe them.

I like the cover art and I too am a defender of My December. Definitely more mature and stronger vocally than Breakaway, which is still an amazing CD. Her new CD is awesome and even better than the other two.
