We Need Another Tina

Yes, I'm still on that Tina Turner fix that I've been on lately. This is one of my very favourite Turner songs, "We Don't Need Another Hero (Thunderdome)" from the soundtrack to George Miller's Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (I am also a fan of Turner's other song from the soundtrack, "One of the Living"). The song was nominated for a Golden Globe and is pure proof that any song with a child choir is infinitely better than a song without. True fact.

Let's just say that any song with any type of choir makes it a better song than one without. That choir in Madonna's "Like a Prayer" gets me everytime.

yeah, choirs in general. See also recent songs like Madonna's "Nothing Fails", Mika's "Happy Ending", All Saints' "Fundamental", the Little Fish version of "Flame Trees" (child choir again)....
