I came across the following image over at (the amazing) Xolondon of Madonna carrying her new son David. "WOW!!!" is what you're saying, right? Well, wrong. It's not. BUT if you notice, she has fitted the lil one in a shirt with the freakin' AUSTRALIAN FLAG! And that makes me wonder - other than "where did she get that? Blighty bitch hasn't been here in 16 years!" - could she be sending us all (us = Australians) a message that she will finally finally finally be touring down here.
And then I read this in the Herald Sun today.
Now, she's pulled this stunt before. She infamously remarked that she would bring her Confessions Tour to Australia if she went to Japan. She did go to Japan, but then didn't come here. The Spice Girls totally stole her line about having to return home for their kids. Seriously, the first day of the school year isn't just some unknown time in the near future. It's pretty darn easy to know when it is as to structure your tour appropriately.
BUT! I'm in a positive mood so I'm going to conveniently ignore all that. Add to that to the fact that her new single "4 Minites to Save the World" (which doesn't actually go for four minutes, fyi) is no where near as bad as I expected it to be (although it does succumb to the personality-free design that the genre has embraced) and that opening is a killer, so maybe her album will be good and maybe the tour will go ahead and maybe she'll come down here and sing a few tunes.
Or she could decide to adopt some orphans and cancel the whole thing.
