Everyone knows Saul Bass was a master, and this is very nearly my favourite of his posters. The design for Otto Preminger's Bunny Lake is Missing is rather quite ingenius, really. It takes the general basis of the film - a missing child - and gives it an artistic spin. The use of construction paper, the crude tearing, the child-like title design are all great set ups. And they may have stolen a hook from Psycho with the tagline, but even that is done in a way that serves the film and helps the audience clue in to what it's all about.

This just goes to prove my point that posters can be filled with lots of empty space if that empty space is there for a reason.
