Link to the Dark Side

Some links for you!

Movie Poster Addict has a fascinating story about the poster for Taxi to the Dark Side (to the left there) being banned by the American ratings board (the MPAA) because it features a hooded person. He then goes on to illustrate some many posters of recent times that have gotten away with far worse (hi Eli Roth!!!!) Variety has an article, as does Movie Marketing Madness.

The Film Experience has more vintage Vanity Fair. It's a total mindtrip.

Adem with an E has all sorts of "best music of 2007" roundups for all you people who get a kick out of this sort of thing including a list of the best songs of the year that's 207 songs long! Crikies!

Low Resolution has another entry in the "Beyond Actordome" competition.

News.com.au has a big story on the end of filming to Baz Luhrmann's Australia epic. It's apparently only been nine months (really? Defamer is right, it's felt like an eternity) since filming began and now it's all over. Apparently due for release at Christmas 2008. We'll see how long they stick to that release date. Also, there's a new picture! Are these two so attractive?

"To me, it's probably the best movie I have ever worked on."
